Britney Spears is telling Ozzy Osbourne to hush, just stop.
The “Stronger” singer is firing back at the Black Sabbath band member and his family—including wife Sharon Osbourne and son Jack Osbourne—after they addressed the dancing videos she posts online.
In a lengthy note, Britney compared herself to Kate Beckinsale for continuing to do what she loves despite her age.
“Not as bad as some of my comments saying it’s sad that I’m as old as I am and I’m dancing every single day on my IG!!!” the 42-year-old wrote in a July 17 Instagram post. “Number 1) I hardly ever dance and number 2) I’m not poor at all!!!”
Britney—who has turned her Instagram comments off—continued to preach on the importance of being vulnerable and sharing your creativity with the world, before finishing with a direct message to the Osbournes.
“I’m going to do a photoshoot with Kate,” Britney continued, “and tell the Osbourne family, who is the most boring family known to mankind, to kindly f--k off!”
Earlier in the week, Ozzy and his family commented on internet dancing trends—and brought up the “Womanizer” singer.
“Every f--king day,” Ozzy said of Britney’s dancing on the family’s July 16 episode of their podcast. “It’s sad. Very, very sad.”
And while the original conversation was in response to a fan questioning whether Kelly would ever perform TikTok dances for the family’s fans, it quickly segued into discussing Britney’s Instagram.
“Poor little thing,” Sharon added. “It’s heartbreaking.”
And Jack also chimed in, “Save Britney.”
Kelly Osbourne, for her part, did not comment on the topic.
And while Britney wasted no time to clap back at the Osbournes, the family’s comments didn’t deter her from being her authentic self. After her initial note, the Grammy winner later shared a video of herself dancing in pink bikini bottoms and a white top.
No matter the chatter, Britney continues to document her life extremely candidly on social media—and show off her impressive dancing skills, which was an integral part of her unbeatable stage presence in the aughts.
“I apologize for not being perfect,” the Crossroads star wrote in a July 13 video of her dancing. “I will try and get the confidence and consistency back like I used to have!!!"
